Construction Planner

The Construction Planner generally reports directly to the Client construction management organization.

Job duties normally consist of:

  • Reviewing Client construction packages and providing input and requesting changes when necessary
  • Performing field constructability and planning reviews
  • Developing detailed work breakdown structures
  • Developing master Bill of Material documents
  • Identifying support labor craft interfaces and collaborating with support craft leadership to develop an optimal plan and schedule for work execution
  • Identifying and tabulating job equipment needs
  • Developing master resource loaded project schedules using Client's chosen scheduling software or tool
  • Ensuring jobs are planned in accordance with all aspects of Client requirements pertaining to the Health, Safety,and Security of employees and contractors
  • Facilitating regular communication with Client construction management and scheduler(s) to ensure accuracy and completeness of planning work
  • Communicating effectively with Client and Client's Contractor employees at all levels

Construction Scheduler

The Construction Scheduler generally reports directly to the Client construction management organization or the Client project controls organization.

Job duties normally consist of:

  • Reviewing Client project schedules and providing input and requesting changes when necessary
  • Developing master construction schedules using Client's chosen scheduling software or tool
  • Leveling master construction schedules according to Client's chosen variables and metrics
  • Facilitating regular communication with Client construction management to ensure accuracy and completeness of master construction schedule(s)
  • Managing the master construction schedule(s)
  • Developing and issuing data and reporting tools in accordance with Client requirements
  • Communicating effectively with Client and Client's Contractor employees at all levels

Turnaround/Construction Coordinator

The Turnaround/Construction Coordinator generally reports to the first level of the Client construction management organization. They serve as primary interface between the Client and Client's Contractor(s).

Job duties normally consist of:

  • Reviewing Client construction packages, plans, and project schedules, and providing input and requesting changes when necessary
  • Ensuring Contractor's preparedness ahead of job start
  • Supporting Contractor's material and equipment management needs as dictated by the Client
  • Ensuring Contractor's compliance with all aspects of Client requirements pertaining to the Health, Safety, and Security of employees and contractors
  • Communicating daily with Contractor's management to ensure Contractor's needs are being met and work is progressing according to the Client's plans and schedules
  • Monitoring Contractor's field progress daily and reporting schedule progress at the frequency and via the means specified by the Client
  • Identifying and addressing problems and leading indicators impacting productivity, and routing them to Contractor's management and/or Client construction management when necessary
  • Communicating effectively with Client and Client's Contractor employees at all levels

Construction Field Engineer

The Construction Field Engineer generally reports to the first level of the Client construction management organization. They serve as the primary interface between the Client's Engineering or Project Management departments and the Client's Contractors.

Job duties normally consist of:

  • Participating in constructability reviews with the Client's Engineering or Project Management departments prior to the execution or implementation phase of a project or event
  • Reviewing Client construction packages and plans, and providing input and requesting changes when necessary
  • Monitoring Contractor's field progress daily and ensuring compliance with Client's designs, specifications, and standards.
  • Identifying and addressing problems and leading indicators impacting adherence to Client's technical requirements and routing them to Contractor's management and/or Client construction management when necessary
  • Addressing all constructability issues or discrepancies that are technical in nature through constant collaboration with the Client's Engineering or Project Management departments.
  • Communicating effectively with Client and Client's Contractor employees at all levels

Turnaround/Construction Supervisor

The Turnaround/Construction Supervisor often reports directly to Client management team. This role oversee and manages the planning, scheduling, and execution of all construction within an assigned project, event, or area of a Client site.

Job duties normally consist of:

  • Participating in constructability reviews with the Client's Engineering or Project Management departments prior to the execution or implementation phase of a project or event where necessary
  • Reviewing Client construction packages, plans, project schedules, and master construction schedules and providing input and requesting changes when necessary
  • Ensuring Contractor's compliance with all aspects of Client requirements pertaining to the Health, Safety, and Security of employees and contractors
  • Communicating with and directly supervising construction coordinator(s) and field engineers to ensure Contractor's needs are being met and work is progressing according to the Client's packages, plans and schedules
  • Monitoring Contractor's field progress weekly and dictating changes to plan, schedule, or execution strategy to maintain compliance with overall project or event schedule and budget
  • Monitoring Contractor's field progress weekly and dictating changes to plan, schedule, or execution strategy to maintain compliance with overall project or event schedule and budget
  • Communicating effectively with Client and Client's Contractor employees at all levels
